Wow, I hardly feel like I've come up for air since Rushbearing, but here we are (gulp, gasp)!  Georgia will be carrying on with our new dance, which is done in pairs, and is right good fun.  We're about one third through it now, and I reckon we could have it done intime for our next dancxe out on the 16th of August....

There is a video of the dance below, and the tune is Man On The Moon, but we may change it to Home Over The Fell.....

Hi All, Congratulations on a fantastic Rushbearing.  As you all probably know, Helen and Robyn aren't going to be with us for a few weeks, but we're gonna take the lead, from some of our younger members and see how that pans out..  This week, Georgia, Chloe, and Molly will be going over Sam, and Pat dances, and starting something new.  I'm sure it's going to be great fun ;)

Well Summer is now well and truly under way, and it's our big weekend: The Awesome Littleborough Rushbearing Festival....    This will be our last full rehearsal before this weekend...  We'd love as many of our dancers as possible this weekend, so come an down and enjoy this brilliant run through....

Sorry everyone, but there's no Cloggin this week..

I love Tuesdays, do you?  It's time to put on yer clogs and come exercise your demons through the medium of dance.  Not just any old dance: syncopated foot rhythms to fantastic live music, provided by The Black Nan Folk Band.

This week, I dare say, we'll be going over Sam Sherry's Hornpipe, to Harvest Home, Pat Tracey's Old Lancs A Routine, to Davey Nick Nack, and our final preparations for the DeTour De France and our awesome Clogcycle Dance, with bespoke tune, yet to have a rubber stamped title.  It is going to be awesome!!!

Buoyed up from our debut public dance performance at Stansfield Hall Primary School Musical Gala Evening, now would be a great time to come and join the Littleborough Oakenhoof Cloggers.

It's for all ages and abilities, great for manual dexterity, it's really good fun, we get to go out and dance at really cool events (if you want to), and most importantly, it's free...

Here is the tune that Nicola Beazley has written for Le Tour De France.

Tonight's cloggin session was the best yet.  I'm confident we're ready for our inaugural performance.
