Not sure what we'll be doing at this (remember last year?!)
First Tuesday Folk Session and some Oakenlove
An evening of lovely tunes, songs, words and friendship. xx
Cloggin at the Con: Getting ourselves spruced up for festive tunes and dances!
It's that time of year when we transform our dance and tune repertoire into a wonderful, festive celebration: brace yourselves for the jingling of bells!
First (for ages!) Tuesday meeting
Single agenda item for tomorrow's meeting: a proposal from Monica.
We'll also have a brief catch up on the next couple of month's events and bookings.
Hope you can make it! Sadly, I (Helen) won't be able to attend: I've to go to a late meeting at work. But please attend to hear, and support this exciting new proposal about more fun in Oakenhoof!

music, storytelling, craft and morris dancing.
Highlight include performances by Magdalen Bath, a talented local singer/songwriter, will be performing. Magdalen won a spot in the Saturday Night Concert at the festival last year through our Young Musician’s showcase.
There will be plenty to interest little ones from the interactive music activities to Storytelling with Ruthie Boycott- Garnett.
Festival favourites, Thieving Magpies, will be back with their signature mixed border morris. There will be plenty of dancing, waving big sticks about and yelling. Hellfire Magpie are also joining us for the afternoon.
No 5th November is complete without bonfire fun, so bring your sparklers and belly hats.
Half Term Clog Dancing and Tunery
I think we're a bit thin on the round this week, but lets havea right good clog! The musicians performing on Saturday in Stacksteads could have a practice for that event too. And, as it's half term, we could have a small tune session afterwards?
